To START the game, press the crest in the center of the screen.
To PAUSE / EXIT / STOP the game without losing your place and without resetting, just leave the game as you would any other iPhone App - by pressing the iPhone's "home" button. When you return, your game will be as you left it, until you reset the game.
To RESET the game to the very beginning and re-lock all levels and shields, press the "leather" settings triangle tab with small gears on the LEFT side of the screen, then press the RESET button. After a reset you must then play as both Dirk and Guido again to reach the end.
When you finish a level, it becomes unlocked and you get a Gold Shield. You may play the sound attached to that shield at any time by pressing the shield.
Unlocked levels stay unlocked, even if you stop playing and do something else, as long as you do not RESET the game. Return to the game and you are where you left off.
Unlock all 5 shields for a Swordsman and you win free-fight mode for that Swordsman. You play in the Sword Vault. To enter free-fight and the Vault, press the 5th shield after it is unlocked. While inside, you may swing your sword to hear swords sounds freely, as long as you do not RESET the game. Press the X to exit the Vault.
To win the final, final prize, unlock all shields for both Dirk and Guido and enter the Vault for each of them.
Start the game, tap the crest, and then choose to play as Dirk or Guido.
Swing your sword in different directions. Hang on tight! Cut, parry, thrust! You will hear the clanging & swishing of your sword as you fight! Swinging your sword is how you advance in the game.
When the left-most shield on the screen turns from dull gray to bright gold you have completed that task and have advanced!
Start the next round by pressing the crest and again choosing which Swordsman you will be this time.
The fights increase in length as you advance from level to level.
Illuminate all 5 shields and you have won your hero's sword. Press the screen to enter the Vault and personalize the sword.
You are now in free-fight mode for that Swordsman! Swing away! Press the X to exit the Vault.
Having completed all of Dirk's or Guido's levels you must complete all of the other's levels to win his sword too.
Having won both swords, you have unlocked the last reward!
Decorate your Sword, Free-Fight Mode, The Ulitmate Reward
Once you have won a Swordman's sword, you may enter the Vault at any time by pressing on the 5th unlocked shield of a Swordsman.
You are in free-fight mode while you are in the vault and may swing at will.
To exit, press the X on the leather triangle. Now you can continue to play the sounds attached to shields.
And what is The Ultimate reward in the Game? And how do you access it? That is a Secret!

but know that Facebook is not a good place to ask technical questions about the game or to report bugs. It is too hard to track a support conversation over extended time. And you cannot really search for past questions/answers.
So, please save your questions and bug reports for the Yahoo group, or our NEW forum, or for email. Both the Yahoo group and the Forum should have plenty of people familiar with the game who may have some insight into the problem. (Alas, we do not know all there is to know about iPhones.) And you can make new friends, too!
